Hello! I'm Julie Fagan, I'm from Kansas City and i am a new stylist/pedicurist/reflexologist at Studio 9 Salon. I am a 30 yr seasoned stylist. I enjoy haircuts (men & women), haircoloring, pedicures & i am a certified reflexologist. I specialize in razor cuts. I have done it all. I've trained in NYC at Redken Exchange & Matrix. I've been a Wella haircolor Training Specialist and i trained in LA. I've managed a salon, I've owned a Salon and i have taught beauty school. I just love working behind the chair and making people feel pretty & handsome. I stay educated on the latest trends. I will be working Fridays 9-5 and plan to add Saturdays when needed. Governor Laura Kelly Starting July 3, I will issue an Executive Order requiring masks be worn in indoor public spaces, and at any outdoor gathering in which social distancing cannot be maintained. This step will keep Kansans healthy, and keep Kansas open for business.

[05/16/20] Who is ready for us to be back open? Chrisie, Megan, Wendy and Sondra are excited to see everyone.
Due to covid-19, we have new restrictions we will now be following. We have agreed that the ones we started canceling 8 weeks ago will be the first and so on, due to those waiting the longest. Please understand that this is all new to us and wait times may be longer then expected due to new precautions added. We will have an extra helper to hopefully make things run smoother. Please be patient and kind.

Sondra, massage therapist, also will be open starting the 19th. And will go along with the guidelines that Studio 9 Salon is under. She does have time for massages on Tuesday the 19th and 20th Wednesday. Anyone interested can call and schedule at 785-643-1528.
1. All patrons will have to wear a mask.
2. We ask that you come alone, if not the other person needs to stay in the vehicle, including children. This is to keep the risk of spread to a minimum. We know this is inconvenient, but the state has issued these restrictions & this is the only way we were allowed to open. Health is the most important at this time.
3. If you have more than 1 child getting a haircut, it will have to be done one child a time. To ensure that we are maintaining social distancing to the best of our ability. Not only for ourselves, but other patrons in the salon at that time.
4. We ask that when you arrive for your appointment, that you wait in your vehicle. We will come out to get you when we are ready for you.
5. You will be asked to wash your hands as soon as you enter the salon as a safety precaution.
6. Please for the sake of everyone’s health in the salon & yourself if you are having any symptoms or you’ve been in contact with anyone who’s had covid-19. Cancel your appointment. The risk isn’t worth it!!!

[05/01/20] I'm sorry everyone. Governors orders say no to opening til possibly the 18th. :( we are as upset as all of you. We will still love you if you have to cut your bangs, but don't try the rest. We don't want a mullet.
[04/16/20] Happy 6th Birthday to Studio 9 Salon. I wish we were open to be able to share our gratitude to our clients. Thank you all for such a great 6 years open. We hope to be back spoiling everyone soon.

[04/08/20] All of us at Studio 9 Salon miss our clients so much. At this point, we have no idea when we will be allowed to be open. Don't worry, we are all going insane as much as anyone else lol. And we look just as bad with outgrown roots, no nails, and eyebrows crazy. We miss everyone and hope this will end soon. Please stay safe and know we can't wait to be back to work as soon as we can. Love you all.
Studio 9 Salon will be closing as of Thursday, 03/19. As we all know, the future is unknown with this crisis. With the announcement of the virus being confirmed in our area the Linn County Health Development has closed all salons in our county. We are sorry for any inconvenience this causes, but we all need to stick together during this difficult time. We will keep in contact and let you know when we will be able to open again. To all of our amazing clients, thank you for understanding!
